I’m a self-taught baker and the 17 year old founder of Starr Bakery; born and raised in Houston, Texas. My love for art led me to baking, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-blown passion. I started baking when I was 7 years old, spending time in the kitchen with my dad and grandma, from even trying out recipes from Tasty everyday after school. At just 13 years old, I launched Starr Bakery LLC with the dream of bringing joy to others through baking.

My biggest milestone so far has been seeing younger people look up to me — something I always wished I had when I was first starting out. Through social media, I’ve had the chance to connect with so many aspiring bakers, and it means the world to know that I’m inspiring others just by sharing my journey. My goal isn’t just to grow my business — I want to be the encouragement someone else needs to believe in themselves and go after their dreams, even though it may seem scary. 

Looking ahead, I hope to expand Starr Bakery into a bigger space and continue building a brand that spreads creativity, art, confidence, and connection because every Starr has a light worth sharing.
